Our Mission
The future of AI must be human.
The future of humanity is at stake.
Wonder Sciences is committing all of its resources to WonderAI, a psychiatric frontier model of the human mind. We are dedicating the next decade to advancing human understanding and turning it into better care and greater protection for people.
We believe artificial intelligence poses a real threat to civilization as we know it. Researchers inside leading AI laboratories warn of catastrophic harm and the possibility of losing human control.1 Waiting for certainty before acting is a failure of responsibility.
Human control depends in part on our ability to think independently and make informed choices. That makes the ways AI influences our beliefs, decisions, and sense of reality a matter of safety. Protecting that agency is central to WonderAI.
A dangerous system can be the one a person trusts most.
In Stanford-led tests, some language models reinforce delusional thinking and respond dangerously to suicidal cues.2 A response that sounds compassionate can still put someone at risk. Safety must account for what a response does to the person receiving it.
We are building WonderAI to integrate and reason across 150 years of psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, pharmacology, and psychotherapy. We are also building a living model of each person, designed to connect that knowledge with their history, relationships, circumstances, and changes over time.
The World Health Organization’s 2025 assessment describes more than one billion people living with mental health disorders, alongside profound gaps in access to care.3 We are building clinical tools to help clinicians recognize distress earlier and make more informed decisions.
We are also building safety capabilities for other AI systems to recognize when agreement reinforces a harmful belief, when uncertainty requires acknowledgment, and when a person needs human support.
Stanford researchers distinguish statistical validation from demonstrated clinical benefit.4 We hold our work to that standard: evidence that our models help people, scrutiny of the harms they can introduce, and accountability to the clinicians and individuals who use them.
A deeper model of a person brings a greater obligation to that person.
People must understand and consent to how their information is used, and retain a voice in decisions that affect them. Our models must strengthen their agency and connection to other people. The knowledge people entrust to us must never become a means of exploiting their vulnerability.
We are calling on researchers, clinicians, and builders to join us, challenge our assumptions, and help develop protections worthy of the people who depend on AI.
Humanity must remain in control of its future. We are building to protect that freedom.
